The Vice presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Opoku-Agyemang has called on Ghanaians to reject the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.
She described as unacceptable the NPP’s failure to improve critical infrastructure such as roads, schools, water, and electricity in their eight years in office.
Speaking to supporters during a campaign tour at Apesika in the Kintampo South, and Prag in the Pru West constituencies, Prof. Opoku Agyemang urged citizens to be cautious of what she described as the NPP’s deceptive promises.
“A political party that neglects critical infrastructure development while in government such as schools, roads, water, and electricity doesn’t deserve your votes”.
Prof. Opoku Agyemang talked up the NDC’s commitment to enhancing the lives of Ghanaians, particularly those in the informal sector and urged Ghanaians to have faith in the NDC because of the party’s proven track record of development initiatives.
“They (NPP) often cite Free SHS in response to citizen’s demand of infrastructure development”.
“Is this the type of response our citizens deserve?” she asked.
The NDCVeep Candidate emphasized the need for the prioritizing of urgent needs rather than sidestepping critical issues.
“The NDC’s achievements in infrastructure and social development are visible and undeniable. We are committed to building a better future for Ghana,” she said.
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang rallied supporters to mobilize for a change in leadership.
