Accra, Ghana – The Ghana Medical Trust Fund has received a generous donation from First Atlantic Bank, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to advancing healthcare delivery across the country.
A high-level delegation from the Bank, led by Mr. Daniel Marfo, Executive Director, Business, included Mr. James Aboney, Regional Head, Accra East; Mr. Chris Kan-Dapaah, Group Head, Energy Banking & Financial Institutions; and Mr. Ebenezer Akyeampong, Head, Corporate Communications.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Marfo said the gesture underscores First Atlantic Bank’s strong corporate social responsibility agenda, particularly in health.

He stressed that the Bank is dedicated to supporting initiatives that expand access to quality healthcare and assured the Fund of continued partnership in future interventions.
Receiving the donation, the Administrator of the Fund, Obuobia Darko-Opoku, expressed heartfelt appreciation to First Atlantic Bank for its timely support. She noted that contributions from corporate institutions are critical in complementing government efforts to strengthen healthcare systems, improve service delivery, and ultimately save lives.
