The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has deployed a special team of seasoned investigators and intelligence officers to the Central Region to bolster ongoing police operations and support investigations into the death of a student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
The deployment is part of a broader operational strategy by the Ghana Police Service aimed at ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated investigation into the circumstances surrounding the student’s death. “The deployment forms part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen investigations and ensure that all circumstances surrounding the incident are fully established,” a police statement indicated.
