Actress Efia Odo is worried that the Government of Ghana is good at finding money for unnecessary things but the same energy cannot be invested in the wellbeing of the country.
She says the Government has over the years not been able to invest in the health sector to make it better.
Efia Odo complains about the no-bed syndrome that characterizes Ghana’s hospitals, the bad roads across the country and other developmental projects that have been abandoned due to lack of funds.
What baffles her is the worrying educational sector.
However, in recent times it has been discovered that the same Government is sponsoring the President’s pledge to build a National Cathedral.
Her tweet reacting to this move read “Religion is literally killing this country. Spend millions on a cathedral but can’t spend millions on our Health and education sectors ?”
