Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson has indicated that he has held discussions with his predecessor, Hon Haruna Iddrisu as he takes over from him.
He is hopeful that he will get the support of the people he represents in order to fight for their collective good.

The changes in leadership are said to be a Palace Coup orchestrated by John Mahama and party Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah to cut down the rising influence of the front bench led by Haruna Iddrisu.
The changes have been met with mixed reactions with the members of the Minority caucus complaining about the fact that the party’s leadership did not inform them of the move to change their leadership in Parliament.
But in a post shared via social media, Ato Forson who leads the Minority now said he will present the Minority’s collective goals with unwavering dedication and high integrity.
He is hopeful to get the support of his colleagues and party members.
