Lil Win, a versatile Ghanaian celebrity, has addressed the accusations of neglect made by the family of the late 3-year-old Richmond Tawiah Ampomah, stating that their claims are unjustified.
Prior to the premiere of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi, Lilwin and some members of his team were involved in a horrific accident that tragically claimed the life of the young boy.
Many people have criticized the child’s death, believing it could have been avoided if the comedian had slowed down and followed traffic rules.
The family of the young boy has expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of concern from Lilwin’s team following their son’s passing.
However, in a statement posted on his Instagram page, Lilwin clarified that the family’s accusations of neglect are unwarranted. He explained that several members of his crew also suffered various injuries, and they had to prioritize attending to them to ensure their well-being.
Lilwin expressed his deep sadness over the 3-year-old’s death and mentioned that he, along with other injured team members, are currently undergoing medical treatment.
