Dear Dr. Affail Money,

With all due respect sir, I would like to suggest to your high office to ensure there are categories of award thus (1 QUARTER, 1 LIE and MOST ERRONEOUS MEDIA HOUSE OF THE YEAR) for Multimedia’s Ace Broadcast Journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni (1Q1L) and Joy 99.7 FM (Erroneous) respectively.

I have observed that Manasseh is bent on maligning, fabricating lies and or sensational journalism so as to be seen to be working and has consistently drawn Joy FM and the Multimedia Group into the fray.

In the first quarter of this year Ghana was put into the state of fear and panic by the documentary this Manasseh guy did and got his media house to promote titled “Militia in the heart of the Nation” This documentary attracted mix feelings and displeasure of key individuals and government. Government even described it as significant misrepresentations and misleading impressions as created by the media house.  I am told they have since apologized to government and the New Patriotic Party. What is not clear is why they will not apologize to us the citizenry.

Yesterday the same Manasseh and Joy FM took the nation to believe that the Attorney General is either careless or corrupt to have allowed a CHRAJ report go missing under her watch but the AG came out immediately to put the facts straight that the report did not get misplaced, rather it is Manasseh who did not know what he wanted.

The AG indicated that her outfit further told him the evidence he provided was not sufficient to prosecute the person (Iospong) and the company (Zoomlion) that he(Manasseh) was so interested in getting prosecuted.

The questions I ask are; is this journalism, or self-interest, or a mission to destroy the just or an agenda to mislead society? Obviously there is something Manasseh and Joy FM are up to, that they have not told us.

It is on this note sir, that I want your outfit to give them their deserving awards respectively.Maybe when they receive the awards they will tell us what they are up to.

Thank you

Sincerely

Mashoud Bawa
