Ghanaian notable political radio talk show host Salifu Maase, popularly known as Mugabe Maase has been appointed as the General Manager for Accra-based Power FM.
Mugabe rose to fame during his days at Montie FM and Radio Gold and moved on to win the Radio personality of the year award in 2019 and several other awards.
Mugabe comes in at a time the station is working at becoming one of Ghana’s leading media houses.
Mugabe Maase is expected to galvanize the team at Power FM to build a formidable front of media entity producing thought-provoking stories and help shape the understanding of issues.

Mugabe Maase comes to his new role with some 22 years of experience on the local and international media scene. He has left remarkably solid footprints working with Invincible FM (now Nhyira FM), Ash FM, Nananom FM, Kasapa FM (London), Radio Focus (London), Montie FM Radio Gold, and TV Gold.
Accordingly, under Mugabe’s leadership, Power 97.9 FM is highly expected to be more educative, informative, and entertaining, with “more Gumbe.”
