The National Insurance Commission has issued an alert cautioning the public against doing business with Zeta Insurance Brokers.
According to the NIC has not been licensed by the commission to offer Insurance Brokerage Services in accordance with the insurance Act, 2006, Act 724.
Public Relations Officer for the NIC Mawuli Zogbenu who disclosed this in a Press statement surged the General public to desist from engaging the services of the firm, for the purpose of Insurance Brokerage Services as their operation is not recognized by law.

The NIC was established by the insurance Act, 2006 (Act 724) to ensure effective administration, supervision, regulation, monitoring and control of the business of insurance, to protect insurance policyholders and the insurance industry.
For the purpose of participating in the business of insurance, a business entity may be granted licence to operate either as a life, non-life (general), reinsurance or a brokerage company.
The NIC in its statement said the insurance Act 2006(Act 724) mandates the commission to sanction erring companies in order to ensure sanity and boost public confidence in the business of insurance.
Mawuli Zogbenu in the statement said the commission is committed to executing its mandate to the fullest in order to protect the insured.
The NIC has also advised traders to enroll onto insurance services to protect their business and safeguard their future.
