Some members of the ‘Majority’ in Parliament have served notice they will boycott the upcoming budget reading if Ken Ofori Atta is not removed as Finance Minister.
The NPP MPs who number up to 80 believe that the removal of the Finance Minister would revive confidence in the Ghanaian economy.
The MPs also want the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry Charles Adu Boahen removed from his position.
MP for Asante Akyem North Andy Appiah Kubi who addressed a brief press conference in the company of some colleagues said the MPs intend to also boycott government business in parliament.
He urged other members of the majority to join their campaign.
