The Ghana Police Service says it has arrested the man who was seen in a viral video shooting on the eve of the New Year at the A&C Mall.
According to the Police, he was arrested through collaboration with the Military.
The man involved according to a statement from the Ghana Police Service is a Military Officer by the name Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong.
He has currently been detained by the Military Police whiles investigation continues.

Background
Flt. Sergeant Nicholas Owusu Frimpong was seen in a video firing gunshots at the A&C Mall on the eve of the new year.
The Police after interrogating the video placed a bounty of GHC 5,000 on whoever could with information on his whereabouts so he would be arrested.
Police said his crime was that he discharged a firearm in public without lawful and necessary occasion under Section 209 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29).
