A Financial Analyst Nii Yarboi Annan has called the Ministry for Trade and Industry useless for its failure to act in the wake of the difficulties confronting business people in the country.
The cost of the dollar and other trading currencies continues to rise forcing businesses to constantly increase the prices of their goods.

In an interview with Sena Nombo on the Gold Power Drive Nii Yarboi Annan said businesses are now confronted with spikes in prices of basic goods on the international market and short supply of vessels to move their goods.
He cited flour as one of the locally produced goods which price might go up because of the constant increase in the price of wheat on the international market.
Nii Yarboi Annan said suppliers of goods abroad are no longer open pre-orders as they prefer on the spot purchases.
He said businesses after purchasing these expensive goods face struggles to secure vessels to move goods to Ghana because of the cost and delays in docking on Ghana’s ports.
In the wake of these difficulties, the Financial Analyst says the Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten Ministry of Trade and Industry watches on unconcerned.
Nii Yarboi Annan said the ministry needed to sit down with businesses to identify steps that can be taken to address the challenges that are confronting businesses.
