Personnel of the Ghana Police Service have arrested a Togolese Dominic Bimba who had ammunition in his possession.
According to the Ketu Divisional Police Command, Dominic Bimba, a resident of Tokor was travelling in an Accra bound hired vehicle when he was apprehended.
A search in the luggage of the suspect revealed an American-made Six-Rounds RUGER REVOLVER Pistol with sixteen .357 Magnum calibre and Newyork made BB CAL(4.5mm) Pistol.
Police after the arrest led Dominic Bimba to his residence where they retrieved 45 live and two spent shells of .357 magnum calibre were retrieved together with three wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
Suspect Dominic Bimba told the Police that a Togolese by the name Louis at Asiyeye in Togo contracted him to go and deliver the weapons and ammunition to someone in Accra only known by Oscar, the junior brother of Louis.
Dominic Bimba said he charged GHC 800 for transporting the ammunition.
