Financial Analyst Nii Yarboi Annan has advised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to remove his cousin Ken Ofori Atta as Finance Minister and replace him with a conservative Accounting Professional.
This he says would signal a change in direction from the money market management style that Ken Ofori Atta has pursued over the past 5 years.
Nii Yarboi Annan believes the change is necessary if government is to show a commitment to curbing its borrowing appetite and reducing consumption which have driven Ghana’s economy into a ditch.
The suggestion is one of four proposals, Nii Yarboi Annan has recommended to government to help rescue the economy from its downward spiral.
