Student of History and Politics Dr. David Pessey has accused the Nana Akufo-Addo led administration of selling wet and pipe dreams.
According to him Ghanaians would go through pain in the midst of the crisis that confronts the country.
Dr. Pessey was speaking on current affairs show Alhaji & Alhaji hosted by Sena Nombo.
Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta on December 8 2022 survived a vote of censure championed by the Minority in Parliament after the majority staged a walkout.
The move came after the Finance ministry announced a “Debt Exchange program” that would see most institutional receive no interest payments in 2023 and wait till 2037 to get the full complement of monies they invested into Ghana’s bonds.
The development has led to the downgrading of Ghana’s economy to a selective default level by Moody’s.
