The Young Progressive Network has launched an initiative to support assembly members in the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.
This initiative, launched under the theme “Promoting Healthy Environment to reset Ghana, through Logistics support,” aims to provide logistics support to assembly members to facilitate the National Sanitation day program across the Municipal Assembly.
Delivery of keynote address at the launch, convener for Young Progressive Network, Patrick Asford Boadu indicated the importance of the initiative and urged the general public to support the initiative
The challenges in the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly are enormous and government alone can’t do it hence we call on corporate organizations, groups and individual institutions to support this noble idea, he added.
The Youth Progressive Network, Convener, Patrick Asford Boadu further emphasized that the agenda to reset Ghana is a collective responsibility hence the initiative is their Corporate Social Responsibility
The Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, one of the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana, has been working to improve the lives of its residents.
The assembly has various departments, including Central Administration, Physical Planning, Works, and Social Welfare and Community Development.
The Young Progressive Network’s initiative is a welcome move, as it willbnb help support the assembly members in their efforts to promote a healthy environment and improve sanitation in the municipality.
