The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has launched the InvestGhana Podcast to deepen investor awareness, share key opportunities, and strengthen Ghana’s image as a top investment destination in Africa.
The podcast forms part of the Centre’s broader drive to engage global audiences through digital engagement and direct storytelling, as Ghana continues to consolidate its economic recovery and attract investor interest across key sectors.
It features engaging conversations with business leaders, investors, industry experts, and government officials, offering insights into the country’s investment climate, policy direction, and business success stories.
The podcast covers pertinent themes, including infrastructure, manufacturing, agribusiness, digital transformation, the creative arts, diaspora investment, entrepreneurship, and opportunities emerging under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). It will also spotlight real experiences from investors on how they navigated the business environment and what prospective investors can expect.
At the launch of the flagship project, the Centre’s Chief Executive Officer, Simon Madjie, described the initiative as an important step toward making investment information more accessible and engaging for both local and international audiences.
“Countries are increasingly competing for investment in new ways, making strategic communication essential. The InvestGhana Podcast will share Ghana’s investment narrative, highlight opportunities across sectors, and connect investors to the people, policies, and projects driving the country’s growth,” he said.
Mr Madjie also noted that the podcast aligns with GIPC’s ongoing digital transformation efforts, including the development of a 24-hour website chat service, an investor roadmap, and targeted social media campaigns to simplify access to investment opportunities and information.
