Three aspiring constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency have demonstrated solidarity with victims of the recent flooding in Kasoa by providing meals and relief to affected families.
The aspirants—Seth Bismark Bonful, who is contesting for Constituency Organizer, Abena Asieduah, an aspiring Deputy Women’s Organizer, and Bright Osei Bonsu, a hopeful Communications Officer, visited several flood-hit communities following the heavy downpour that displaced residents and caused significant hardship.
During the visit, the team interacted with affected families, offered words of comfort and encouragement, and distributed cooked meals to victims as an immediate relief measure.
Speaking during the outreach, the aspirants expressed deep concern over the plight of residents affected by the floods and appealed to government agencies, corporate bodies, charitable organizations, and the general public to support relief efforts for the affected communities.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to serving the people of Awutu Senya East beyond politics, stressing that leadership is about standing with communities in times of need and contributing to their well-being.
Residents who benefited from the initiative expressed gratitude to the aspirants for the timely intervention, describing the gesture as a source of hope and encouragement as they begin to recover from the devastating effects of the floods.
