General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe is not qualified to prevent anyone from registering because they are non-indigenes of the region.
Kwame Baffoe popularly known as Abronye DC has been strongly defended what is considered an agenda to impede the strong “Ewe” community in Banda from registering in the ongoing exercise.
The members of the “Ewe” community have been described as non-indigenes who had no right to register in Banda whiles others have been accused of being Togolese immigrants.
The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Banda Joe Danquah has been fingered for leading the attempts to disenfranchise the community.

The NDC General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia however told Sena Nombo on the Gold Power Drive Abronye DC and Joe Danquah are both non-indigenes.
According to him Abronye DC’s parents hailed from the North and brought him along when they moved to the Bono region.
He said Abronye’s surname “Baffoe” is an adopted name and not his real surname.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia also questioned the indigene status of the NPP PC Joe Danquah.
The NDC scribe said Joe Danquah does not qualify to call himself an indigene because his mother from whose line he is entitled to inherit hails from the North.
He said the two men would not have risen to their current political status if political activity was reserved for indigenes.
