Relatives of the three missing Takoradi Girls are demanding the head of two police officers they believe should shoulder the blame for the inability to find their daughters.
The search for the three ladies 18-year-old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, last seen December 21, 2018, 21-year-old Priscilla Blessing Bentum, last seen on August 17, 2018 and 18-year-old Ruth Love Quayson, last seen December 4, 2018 seems to have hit a snag with the police under pressure to produce results.
Speaking to host of the Gold Power Drive, Samuel Eshun after a demonstration held over the weekend on the issue, Spokesperson for the families of the three missing girls, Michael Hayford Grant says former Takoradi Divisional Police Commander Superintendent Peter Ofori Donkor and one CID officer named only as Ametepe hold the key to unraveling the whereabouts of the missing girls.
According to him, whiles Superintendent Peter Ofori Donkor who has since been transferred failed to get his men to act, Detective Ametepe is being accused of professional misconduct.
Michael Hayford Grant allege that CID Ametepe who he says has also been transferred, in the early days of the kidnapping, took money from the families to ostensibly give to MTN to track the phone number that the kidnappers were using to demand ransom from the relatives of the victims.
He said the family later found out that MTN did not charge the police service for such services.
