Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has lashed out at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for scheduling their media encounter a day after the launch of their manifesto.
According to him, it was a ploy by his opponents to draw the attention from their manifesto which is a key document to help reset Ghana.
John Dramani Mahama made this known while on a tour of the Greater Accra Region.
“We were going to launch our manifesto on the 24th of August. Immediately our opponent announced that they were going to a media encounter on the 25th of August, the very next day.
The intention for doing the media encounter the next day after we had announced our manifesto was to turn the attention of Ghanaians from the NDC manifesto. That was the main reason that they decided to do a media encounter.
The former President teased the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) composure during the media encounter indicating that when the media is not in front of him, he is known to be an orator but when he was questioned by the media he was stamering.
