The Chief Executive Officer of Exim Bank Ghana, Sylvester Mensah, has outlined a variety of financial facilities offered by the bank to support its customers.
These facilities are designed to enhance economic growth, boost trade, and empower businesses across multiple sectors.
The facilities include:
Export Trade Facility
Import Substitution Financing
Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Development Financing
Project and Infrastructure Financing
Trade and Investment Financing
Access Financing
Mr. Mensah emphasized that these offerings reflect the bank’s commitment to fostering economic development and supporting local and international trade.
In alignment with these objectives, Exim Bank Ghana actively participated in the 2025 Kwahu Business Forum, held from April 19 to 20 at the Mpraeso Social Centre in the Eastern Region.
The forum, themed “The Future of Business: The Role of the Financial Sector”, served as a strategic platform for dialogue between financial institutions and private sector players.
As part of the forum’s initiatives, each participating bank, including Exim Bank Ghana, committed to supporting at least five viable new enterprises annually.
This approach is projected to result in the creation of over 600 enterprises by the end of President Mahama’s four-year term.
Mr. Mensah reiterated Exim Bank Ghana’s dedication to these initiatives, highlighting the bank’s role in providing financial solutions that empower local entrepreneurs and SMEs, thereby contributing to Ghana’s economic transformation.
