British Broadcasting Company’s Sport Reporter, John Bennett, has stated supporters should not rate Crystal Palace’s Jordan Ayew on goals solely.
Bennett, believes the Ghanaian international is crucial to Veiria’s squad in league survival last season and in best position of excelling this seasons.
“Sometimes we judge Jordan Ayew on goals alone.
If you talk to his crystal palace teammates, if you talk to Patrick Veiria, they really love his work rate and the fact that he’s unselfish as well”, he stated.
“I don’t think he was too bad last season, I think he performed well in a team that really exceeded expectations”.
“Crystal Palace was expected to go down by many people last season because they lost number of players”.
I think Jordan Ayew is in a good position to have a really good campaign this season, hope he gets a few more goals but I think we should not underestimate his work rate and what he gives to that team, is not just about goals”, he concluded.
