The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) achieved a landmark victory at the 2026 Public Enterprises League Table (PELT) Awards of Excellence held yesterday at the Kempinski Hotel. In an evening dedicated to celebrating institutional transparency and high-tier performance, GoldBod swept the major categories to be named the Overall Best Specified Entity for the year.

He emphasized that the entity remained focused on hitting the aggressive performance targets set by the government, noting that maintaining the top spot on the league table would require even greater discipline in the coming financial year.
The 2026 ceremony highlighted several other public institutions that have made strides in modernization and fiscal health. The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) was celebrated as the Most Digital Specified Entity, reflecting its ongoing success in automating services for the public.
