Leader and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama is currently in the Upper West region to continue his Building The Ghana We Want Together Tour
The former President took and his team took a short break after touring the Savannah region to undertake other important assignments including securing the backing of elders and executives of the party for his choice of Running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang.
The Upper West regional tour would afford the NDC Flagbearer the opportunity to interact with chiefs, religious leaders, traders, artisans, professional bodies and students and sharing his vision for the country with them.
Former President John Dramani Mahama will be in the region for two days, on 8th and 9th March 2024.
On day one, John Dramani Mahama will engage the Bussie community in the Daffiama Bussie Issah Constituency and pay a courtesy call on the Waala Traditional Council in the Wa Central Constituency.
While in the Wa Central Constituency, the NDC Flagbearer will meet with the religious community and climax it all with a Town hall meeting at Wa Central Constituency.
The Building Ghana tour gives the Flagbearer the opportunity to listen to the General public on socioeconomic Development issues and challenges confronting them in their respective constituencies to tailor the 2024 manifesto of the National Democratic Congress to focus on solutions that address these challenges.
