Flagbearer aspirant former President John Dramani Mahama would later today 22 March 2023 address an event on transparent and ethical financing of political campaigns.
The former President who has been described as the presumptive Flabearer of the NDC would be the keynote speaker at the event themed: “Financing Political Campaigns in the Ghana we want: a case for a more transparent and broad-based citizen participation.”
In a Facebook post, former President John Dramani Mahama stated “I will at this programme, launch my campaign fundraising platform to illustrate how politicians generally and political parties can broaden and make more transparent, their sources of financing.
“I look forward to this evening’s engagement at the UPSA on transparent and ethical financing of political campaigns, ahead of the 2024 elections.”
“My thanks go to my friends in Civil Society who have worked with my team to make this dream possible,” he stated.
The event will come off at the UPSA auditorium.
