
Ghana striker Jonathan Sowah scored his third goal as Simba SC wrapped up their pre-season camping in Egypt.
The former Medeama SC attacker played a key role for Simba, scoring the only goal as they drew 1-1 against FC Fassell in full time.
Sowah scored his second pre-season goal for Simba SC in their 4-3 loss against Egyptian side ENPPI SC before netting his second in their 2-0 win over Carabat.
Sowah has now played five matches, scoring three goals as his side are set to depart Egypt for Tanzania to complete preparation for the mainland top flight league.
The 26-year-old joined Singida Black Stars from Libyan outfit Al Nasr midway last season, scoring an impressive 13 goals from 13 league matches. His performance caught the eyes of Simba who snapped him up to bolster their squad for next season’s football campaign.
Simba coach Fadlu Davids used the pre-season period to strengthen the squad ahead of a demanding season that includes the CAF Champions League, the Mainland Premier League, and local competitions such as the Federation Cup and Community Shield.
