To mark the 46th anniversary of the June 4th Uprising, a founding member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Goosie Tanoh has shared a timely reflection on the state of our politics and the path ahead.
He describes the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in 2024 as a direct rejection of arrogance, corruption, and leadership disconnected from the people, and cautions the NDC not to fall into the same pattern.
Goosie Tanoh who is also the presidential advisor on the 24 hour economy and Accelerated Export Development commended President John Dramani Mahama for initiating a “reset agenda” aimed at restoring public trust and realigning governance with the needs of ordinary Ghanaians, but he however, stressed that the party must match that vision with internal reforms.
“This is not a moment for complacency. It is a call to act with integrity and rebuild trust from the ground up” he said.
