The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, will embark on a campaign tour of the Oti Region on Thursday.
It follows her recent campaign tour of the Central Region where she reiterated the readiness of the next NDC government to collaborate with traditional leaders to fight poverty in the region.
During her two-day campaign tour of the Oti Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will take NDC’s key campaign messages to voters in constituencies including Guan, Buem, Biakoye and Krachie East constituencies.
Last week, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang campaigned in the Northern part of Ghana where She urged voters to vote for Mr Mahama to enable him to fix the mess created by the AkufoAddo/Bawumia government, improve education, provide jobs, and financially empower women.
As has become usual of prof. Opoku Agyemang’s camapign tour, her arrival at campaign grounds are enthusiastically greeted with cheers of “Maame oo den-deh-ee,” meaning “Mother, you are welcome”.
