The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has intercepted a shipment containing 73 slabs of a substance suspected to be cocaine at the Swiss Port in Ghana.
The operation, carried out on Wednesday, April 23, led to the arrest of four individuals.
The suspected narcotics, weighing approximately 89.74 kilograms, were being prepared for export to the Netherlands.
NACOC officials say the bust was part of an intelligence-led operation aimed at disrupting international drug trafficking networks using Ghana’s ports.
The four suspects are currently in custody as investigations continue.
Their identities have not yet been disclosed.
