President John Mahama has arrived in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, for bilateral talks with Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
The two leaders are meeting to discuss matters of mutual interest and regional cooperation.
President Mahama was received with a grand welcome at the Ouagadougou International Airport, where he was greeted by Captain Traoré and inspected a guard of honour
Accompanying President Mahama on this trip are several high-ranking officials, including the Presidential Envoy to the Sahelian States, Col. Larry Gbevlo Lartey, Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and Executive Secretary to the President Dr. Calistus Mahama.
The meeting between President Mahama and Captain Traoré is a significant step in strengthening relations between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
The two leaders are expected to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in areas such as trade, security, and regional development.
