Renowned Investigative Journalist Raymond Archer has expressed worry with the divisions in the media fraternity.
According to him the current state of the Ghanaian media landscape has made it ineffective and unable to effectively hold government to account.
Raymond Archer said this in an exclusive conversation with Sena Nombo on the Gold Morning Conversation.
The Investigative Journalist said the divisions make it difficult for the media to put their resources and contacts together to effectively report on stories that affect the interest of the country.
Raymond Archer recounted how he worked with several renowned journalists to pursue some of the stories that brought him recognition.
He said the divisions make the media easy targets for politicians and cited the closure of Radio Gold as one of the failures of the divided media front.
Mr. Archer cautions that other media houses would suffer the fate of Radio Gold if the media does not start acting as a unit.
