Ghana and Singapore have taken another major step in strengthening bilateral cooperation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two Singaporean companies — Ascent Solutions Pte Ltd and Exeo Global Singapore — and the Government of Ghana.
The signing ceremony, held at The Pulse, Singapore, marks the beginning of a series of strategic projects aimed at boosting infrastructure, technology, and housing development in Ghana.
Under the MoU, the parties will collaborate on:
The design and construction of a new oil jetty in Ghana
Deployment of advanced security systems for airport operations
Roads and pavement materials testing and construction projects
Installation of mass flow meters and related tracking solutions
Development of PVC-based affordable housing projects
Speaking at the ceremony, Ghana’s representative hailed the agreement as a milestone in Ghana-Singapore relations.
“This MoU reflects the strong partnership and trust between Ghana and Singapore. These projects will not only advance our infrastructure but also create jobs and opportunities for our people,” the official noted.
Executives of the Singaporean companies also expressed optimism about the collaboration.
Mr. Daniel Ng, CEO of Ascent Solutions, said:
“Ghana is positioning itself as a gateway to Africa, and we see this partnership as a long-term commitment to contribute to Ghana’s growth while creating sustainable business opportunities for both sides.”
Similarly, Mr. Adrian Tan, Managing Director of Exeo Global, highlighted the broader significance of the agreement:
“This is more than just a business venture; it is a commitment to deepen Singapore-Ghana collaboration. Together, we can deliver tangible benefits and a future of shared success.”
The MoU is expected to accelerate Ghana’s economic diversification agenda while opening new pathways for Singaporean investment in Africa.
