Former President John Dramani Mahama has given an indication that members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not be complacent in order to be shortchanged during the collation of 2024 election results
He has therefore charged party members to be vigilant during the 2024 general elections to avoid rigging by the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP).
Mr. Mahama promised the NDC will play a fair game in the elections and expect the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to abide by the electoral rules and not attempt rig the polls.
“We want a free and fair elections come 2024 because I know that if the election is free and fair today NDC will win that elections” Ex-president Dramani Mahama is optimistic
Speaking party delegates at Awutu Senya East Constituency as part of his campaign tour of the Central Region, he disclosed that NDC is are ready to work with all the stakeholders in the elections including Electoral Commissions and everybody involve in 2024 elections.
He observed that God has opened doors for NDC in 2024 general elections hence the party will surely win.
“We are all going to involve in coalition and not to leave the coalition centres to executives alone. We should all involves in the 7th December 2024 coalition. We are not going g to sleep but we are going to sit at the coalition centre until they finished with the both parliamentary and presidential Coalition” he urged
