The Parliamentary candidate elect of the opposition National Democratic Congress in Madina Francis-Xavier Sosu is wasting no time in making a strong case for his election as Member of Parliament for the area and the victory of the NDC in upcoming 2020 elections.
The Human rights lawyer beat a former National Youth Coordinator of the NDC, Sidi Abubakar to the candidature of the opposition in Madina and now has the responsibility of wrestling the seat back from the NPP.
Francis Xavier Sosu seems poised to take advantage of any opportunity and platform to campaign for the seat and has already been talking up the performance of the NDC in the education sector.
The Madina NDC PC elect says his party has a superior record in education compared to the New Patriotic Party.

He was speaking at the climax of one month vacation classes organized by the “Baba Sariki Foundation” for pupils of No.1 Cluster of Schools in the La Nkwantanang Municipality.
Mr. Sosu pledged his commitment to partnering authorities of the school and the Foundation to expand access to such initiatives.
He assured that basic education will witness improvement and enhanced management especially in the areas of infrastructure and teacher motivation under the leadership of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
Mr. Sosu said Madina will not be left out of the interventions that would be rolled out in sectors of the economy from 2021 when he believes former President Mahama will re-assume the reins of leadership.
The Madina NDC PC elect encouraged beneficiaries of the vacation classes to be disciplined and hardworking if they want to chalk higher heights and serve their nation well.
To support the initiative, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly Jennifer Dede Afagbedzi through her Coordinating Director donated GHc5000 to the Baba Sariki Foundation.

Incumbent MP for Madina Constituency Boniface Abubakar Sadique on his part pledged his continued support for the Foundation.
