Government says the closure of Nigeria’s borders is having a serious toll on Ghana’s export revenue and impacting negatively on the activities of traders.
The Nigerian authorities closed their borders at Seme-Krake, Igolor and Idiroko in a bid to secure them against smuggling and other illegal operations across the borders.
However in a statement from the Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Ministry, it says this move by the Nigerian authorities is negatively affecting trading activities across those borders.
