Fixthecountry Conveynor Oliver Barker-Vormawor has asserted that, Nana Akufo-Addo plead to the Majority Caucus in Parliament to allow Ken-Ofori-Atta in office for sometime to finalize the IMF deal is an engineered scam.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Thursday, 27th October 2022, he wrote;
Just watch. Nana Addo pulled the same move he used to make sure the Health Minister got out of pressure and didn’t resign. He boasted about it weeks later. He has again gambled on the “move-on” ability of us Ghanaians.”
He added that it is more likely that even if the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta leaves, it will be on his terms. After another grand kenkey party, celebrating him as the messiah himself.
“What lessons have been learned? As long as Nana Addo remains the clearing house of criminal conduct, this is the merry go round we will continue to do on all issues.”
Oliver Barker advised President Akufo-Addo to stop playing to the dictactor’s hymn book.
Background
The Majority Caucus in Parliament called President Akufo-Addo to remove the Finance Minister else they won’t participate in government business. Their call was based on the fact the cedi keeps depreciating and the economic crisis in Ghana keeps getting worse.
Following that President Akufo-Addo called the Majority Caucus and asked them to wait for Ken Ofori-Atta to complete the IMF deal and read the budget in November this year before he ask him to resign.
The Majority Caucus have released a statement to agree with the President. Following that Oliver Barker believes it is a scam.
