The Chief of the Gbawe Traditional Area, Nii Boi Kojo II, has thrown his support behind the Young Progressive Network (YPN) for taking bold steps to transform the lives of young people in the Weija-Gbawe Constituency.
YPN is not only helping young men and women learn vocational and technical skills to build a better future, but is also working hard to keep the community clean by providing sanitation tools and support for Assembly Members’ clean-up exercises.
During a visit by the YPN executives to his palace, Nii Boi Kojo II praised the group for “empowering the youth while helping to create a cleaner and healthier community.”
A principal elder, Enoch Kwatelai Quartey, also shared his gratitude and urged the youth to take full advantage of these opportunities.
“This is a chance for our young people to secure their future, gain skills, and be actively involved in building a healthy economy through community engagement and sanitation,” he said.
Mr. Quartey also called on YPN to work hand-in-hand with the MP for Weija-Gbawe, Hon. Jerry Ahmed Shaib, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Felix Odartey Lamptey, Assembly Members, and other stakeholders to make the initiative even stronger.
