Ghana has achieved a remarkable feat with all three of its diplomats winning prestigious positions in the African Union.
This includes Ambassador Amma A. Twum-Amo, who secured the role of AU Commissioner for Health, Humanitarian Affairs, and Social Development.
Ambassador Jane Gasu Aheto will serve on the African Union Commission on International Law (AUCIL), while Lawyer Kwami Edem Senet was re-elected to the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption (AUABC).
This 100% win is a testament to Ghana’s strong diplomatic presence and its commitment to African unity. Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Samuel Okudetso Ablakwa, congratulated the trio for making Ghana proud, also commending President John Dramani Mahahma, the campaign team, Ghana’s Mission in Addis Ababa, and the Foreign Ministry for their efforts.
