Dancehall Artiste Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah has told the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to be watchful of how he is running the country.
He believes that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo may have no legacy if things continue to remain this way.
“Mr President I’m telling you that the country is not going well, the street is hot and that is what the people of Ghana are saying. People want to come and follow you to make money and go and your legacy won’t be the legacy you’ve dreamt of,” he said.
He continued “I beg you, we are all in Ghana and people said Mahama did not do anything so he was kicked out. They say you are not doing anything. You are not even trying for the people. Mr President forgets everything, what Ghanaians are saying that’s what I’m telling you. You are not trying. People are pissed on the streets”.
To Shatta Wale, the President shouldn’t have been booed but rather been cut with a sharp object by the youth to show their seriousness as he did against Prophets in the country.
“Can’t you sacrifice yourself like how Shatta Wale sacrificed himself to go to jail so that Pastors will stop behaving foolishly in this country? You are there and you are staying away. They should arrest those boys. You too take knife and cut the President so that they see that you want to change something. You see President on stage and you’re shouting away,” he said.
