The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana is demanding the implementation of the outcome of the 2018 promotion and upgrading assessment of judicial service staff carried out by management.
The demand the association explains has become necessary because management has so far failed to take any steps towards the implementation of the report of the assessment as well as the policies outlined to improve the Judicial Service since 2018.
The Association has therefore given its management two weeks ultimatum to implement the contents of the report especially regarding the promotion and upgrading of staff.
JUSAG in a statement said urgent steps need to be taken by management to remedy the situation because the delay in implementing the 2018 plan has become a setback to the 2019 promotion and upgrading exercise for is staff.
This is the outcome of a meeting held by JUSAG on Thursday 4th July, 2019 at which the under listed demands request to the management.
- That the management, without delay, implements the 2018 Promotion and Upgrading Reports.
- That management immediately rolls out the processes for the implementation of the 2019 Promotion and upgrade exercise.
- That upon Managements failure to address points (1) and (2) above on and before Friday 19th July, 2019, the Association shall be forced to advice itself accordingly.
