Financial analyst Nii Yarboi Annan says former President Mahama’s description of the Ghanaian economy as crippled is an understatement.
According to him the Ghanaian economy was on life support.

The governing New Patriotic Party has been on the attack accusing Former President John Dramani Mahama of playing politics with the devastating disaster triggered by spillages from the Akosombo Dam.
The NPP took issue with former President John Mahama’s Facebook post that remarked “the economy is too crippled to tackle comprehensively what happened in the Volta region”.
Financial Analyst Nii Yarboi Annan is however surprised at the reaction of thee NPP as he feels the former President’s assessment was an understatement.
He told Sena Nombo on the Gold Morning Conversation, “the economy is on life support, and immediately that life support is taken away, the economy will be dead and gone”.
Nii Yarboi Annan who is aspiring to be the opposition National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary Candidate for Odododiodio pointed out that the country’s economy is already showing signs of this debilitating ailment with failure to meet its revenue targets in both the first and second quarters of the year.
He said Ghana’s economy is being sustained by the suspension of servicing of foreign debts.
