A Spokesperson for the NDC on infrastructure Kwame Assase says the party’s agenda for infrastructure will revolutionize Ghana’s economy.
According to Kwame Assase, the NDC’s comprehensive infrastructure plan is designed to drive economic growth, create jobs, and improve the lives of citizens.
He says the NDC’s plan as captured by the manifesto will focus on transforming Ghana’s infrastructure with an eye on the country’s economic development.
“Our plans to add value to locally produced raw materials, expand the railway network, develop inland water transport, and support local aircraft companies will create a modern, industrialized nation.” Kwame Assase told Radio Gold on the sideline of the NDC manifesto launch in Winneba.
In the transport sector, the NDC has pledged to expand the railway network, develop inland water transport from the northern part of the country to southern part through the Volta Lake and support local aircraft companies to increase freight and passenger capacity
To achieve these goals, the NDC has announced plans to set aside $10 billion of infrastructure funds, dubbed the “Big Push,” to attract foreign direct investment.
Infrastructure development is a key component of the NDC’s manifesto with a promise to use it as a springboard to project the country to a brighter future for Ghana.
