The NPP delegates have refused to leave their hotel rooms.

According to our sources, the delegates claim that the monies being dolled out to them are not enough until aspirants up their game.

Although buses have been made available, delegates have decided to lock themselves in their hotel rooms until they get substantial money from aspirants.

The issue of vote buying has been a bane of Ghana’s democracy as people who are more competent are mostly not given the opportunity.

However, it seems to be featured heavily in the governing party’s elections.

The delegates conference which was supposed to have started at 10 am has since been delayed.

As of 11:15 am, there were no delegates in the stands at the Accra sports stadium even though there were buses made available for them.

The party’s leadership is worried that this could mar the beauty of the conference.

Over 6, 100 delegates are expected to vote in today’s exercise.
