President John Dramani Mahama has received a higher approval rating than the government overall in the 2025 Citizens’ Perception Survey, according to findings released by Feedback Africa Limited.

The survey shows that 74.4 per cent of respondents rated the President’s performance as “Very Good or Good,” while 62.9 per cent gave the same rating to the government.
Meanwhile, 12.1 per cent rated the President’s performance as “Poor or Very Poor,” compared to 22.2 per cent who expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s overall performance.

Presenting the data in Accra, Prof. Smart Sarpong said the results suggest that many citizens are distinguishing between presidential leadership and broader government delivery, a pattern that often emerges during periods of economic and governance transition.

The findings are drawn from a nationwide survey involving 6,756 respondents across 138 MMDAs and 996 communities.
