Hearts of Oak legend, Sam Johnson has called for calm for club coach, Samuel Boadu.
The young tactician steered the Phobians to the treble last season, but has almost lost the league title to rivals and leaders, Asante Kotoko.
They are however in the finals of the the FA Cup and will face Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium on June 26.
Sam Johnson believes Samuel Boadu can only perform if given enough time.
“We have to give him the chance because he has done it before and so now if things are not going on well and we put pressure on him it’s not ok.
“So now that they have started coming up, we have to see what we can do and then everybody should play his or her part so that next season we can come out strong and win the league.
“Of course we won the double and Kotoko couldn’t do that so we have to keep that as an achievement for us so that we move the thing forward and stop putting pressure here and there on the coach, the big men and the players.” Sam Johnson told Radio Gold TalkSport.
