Star Assurance in collaboration with Oil Marketing Firm, Total Ghana is aiming at deepening insurance penetration in the country.
This is to sell motor insurance and related products to commercial drivers especially members of the Total Troxi Club.
To ensure this Star Assurance will set up point of sales at various Total Service stations in addition to its existing branches to serve the Troxi Club members and other Total card bearers.
Executive Director of Star Assurance, Boatemaa Baffour-Awuah spoke on the benefits of the initiative at the launch of the partnership..
“We believe the coming together of Star Assurance and Total Petroleum Ghana will bring far reaching added value to our cherished customers and patrons thereby enriching their lives” she added.
The initiative will be rolled out in 25 Total Service Stations in Accra and clients are expected to enjoy free fuel based on the type of insurance product purchased.
In view of this management of Total Ghana urged commercial drivers to join the Total Troxi Club and also signed up for the Star Assurance Motor insurance policy to enjoy the free packages.
For his part, Deputy Commissioner of Insurance, Michael Kofi Andoh lauded Star Assurance and Total Ghana for the initiative whilst urging other organization to emulate their example and roll out such initiatives to help increase the rate of insurance penetration in the country.
