Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has addressed claims by Kwadwo Sheldon that he was asked to be given questions to ask him hence his decision not to attend the town hall meeting.
According to him, nothing of the sort happened during his town hall meeting, as he randomly selected people seated at the event to ask questions.
John Dramani Mahama, who made this clarification while addressing party faithful in the Volta Region, said “Yesterday we launched the youth manifesto. It was a beautiful event. In the evening we also had conversations with the youth at the Bukom arena.
I was my own panelist and moderator and so anybody I pointed to, I didn’t know who was in the arena, I pointed at people. They got up and asked me any questions from archaeology to zoology. Because we always speak the truth, we don’t find ourselves in any tight corner because I answer any question anyone asks me from my heart,” he said.
It will be remembered that Kwadwo Sheldon, in a tweet, said he was asked to be given questions to ask by organizers of the NDC’s town hall meeting on International Youth Day.
