The Member of Parliament for Builsa South Dr. Clement Apaak is daring his colleague MP for New Juaben South Michael Okyere Baafi to name the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MPs who told him they supported the E-levy policy.
The Builsa South legislator was responding on the Gold Power Drive to a video circulating on Social media in which the New Juaben South MP claimed that the minority MPs from the NDC had thrown their weight behind the E-levy.
According to Mr. Baafi, the NDC MPs were only putting up an act with their opposition of the E-levy because they feared they would lose their seats if they declared their support of the policy publicly.
In a swift response, Builsa South MP Dr. Clement Apaak said his colleague New Patriotic Party MP told a blatant lie that contained no iota of truth.

Dr. Apaak told Sena Nombo, his colleague acted dishonourable and shamefully thus did not deserve his honourable title.
The MP said the minority would take on the New Juaben South MP over his comments.
For his part, MP for Tamale Central angrily Comrade Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed dismissed the comments of the New Juaben South MP as useless and stupid.
He wondered why the NDC minority would engage in fisticuffs with the majority over the E-levy if they thought it was a good.
Comrade Murtala Mohammed said the minority side stood opposed to the E-levy and all 137 of them would resist it in their full numbers.
