The President Akufo-Addo led government has established a thirteen-member committee to address the Akosombo dam spillage.
According to a statement issued and signed by the Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the 13-member committee is headed by the Chief of staff Frema Osei Opare.
The members of the committee includes Minister of National Security Albert Kan-Dapaah, Interior Minister Abrose Dery, Defence minister Dominic Nitiwul, Energy minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and Finance minister Ken Ofori Atta.
The other members of the committee are Works and housing minister Francis Asenso Boakye, Minister for Roads and Highways Kwesi Amoako Attah, Minister for Environment Dr. Kwaku Afriyie, Sanitation minister, Freda Akosua Prempeh, Lands and Natural Resources minister Samuel A. Jinapor, Information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and minister for Local Government Daniel Kwaku Botwe.
